This vehicle, registered GGV 71N, is a tipper with a crew cab, and was new
to Suffolk County Council in 1974. It is a typical municipal vehicle of
the period. It was obtained by the Museum in 1979 as a service vehicle,
and is now fully restored.
The vehicle had been used to move salt, which had
caused a huge amount of corrosion, which meant that large amounts of new metal
had to be welded in during the restoration, of what is a relatively modern
vehicle.
