Ransomes FL20 Electric Fork Lift Truck
Acquired by the Museum:1979
Current State:Fully restored, and operational
Built in 1951, this RS&J type FL20 fork lift truck was quite advanced, featuring electro-hydraulic operation, with telescopic carriage giving about 16 feet reach, carriage tilting and fork traversing. Movement is by direct electric motor drive, with a separate electric motor driving the hydraulic pump.

It was purchased by the Museum from the Land Settlement Association in 1979.
